We are experts in climate and sustainable finance, providing consulting, advisory, and capacity-building services to public and private entities across the world, with particular emphasis on the Portuguese-speaking countries.
Our work supports the country’s efforts to achieve sustainable development and green growth, via supporting them in the processes needed to access the existing climate and sustainable finance available from several multilateral, bilateral and private institutions. We specialize in delivering tailored strategies, technical assistance, and integrated solutions aimed at scaling up sustainable finance and addressing climate challenges, such as developing readiness proposals to GCF, implementing action plans, etc.

Our Experience
Our network of Global Connectors is hosted by Systemic Lda, a Portuguese based consultancy company that provides support to organizations to gradually incorporate sustainable management practices in its business models.
Our network boasts extensive expertise in sustainability, climate finance, and public financial management, delivering impactful solutions across various regions. With over 80 years of cumulative experience in sustainable finance, ESG frameworks, and circular economy initiatives, we have led projects for international institutions such as the Green Climate Fund, French Development Agency, FAO, World Bank, and others. Our team excels in climate change adaptation and mitigation, having spearheaded renewable energy projects and secured climate finance for global organizations like IFAD and FAO.
Additionally, our experts in public finance and disaster risk finance bring 19 years of experience advising entities such as the World Bank on resource mobilization and resilient fiscal strategies in Africa. We also have extensive experience in strengthening institutional capacities for climate finance access and national adaptation strategies in Western Africa and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Together, we offer deep expertise in advancing sustainability, climate resilience, and finance initiatives worldwide.
